INBOUND STRATEGY LEAD

The Gist is a B2B inbound marketing agency and HubSpot Solutions Partner. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Inbound Strategy Lead for our team who will be responsible for owning client projects and the client experience.

ABOUT THE GIST

The Gist is an inbound marketing agency that designs and implements strategies that propel scalable, organic growth for B2B companies by leveraging their own value and expertise, exercising their influence and asserting themselves as industry leaders. Basically, we help companies grow by leveraging the stuff that already makes them great. We work exclusively on HubSpot and exclusively with B2B organizations. This strict specialization helps us remain focused, organized and confident in our ability to produce great outcomes for our clients.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Inbound Strategy Lead for our team who will be responsible for owning client projects and the client experience. This person will own:

SYSTEM INTEGRITY

You will lead the design, optimization, and adherence to company systems and working procedures specific to client experience, working in collaboration with ownership and other team members.

INBOUND STRATEGY DESIGN

You own the creation of inbound marketing strategies (before implementing them) by following the agency’s proprietary strategy development processes and worksheets.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS

You serve as the client’s lead strategist and primary point of contact. You own the retention and overall satisfaction for every client project or monthly retainer you manage.

CLIENT IMPLEMENTATION

You own project management and implementation by ensuring all projects are completed on time, at a high quality and in alignment with the clients’ strategies and goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will spend the majority of your time performing the following actions:

  • Designing inbound marketing strategies for our clients using the agency’s proprietary strategy development processes, worksheets and tools
  • Assigning production roles to members of team of specialized, independent contractors and manage the ongoing implementation of client projects
  • Leading recurring meetings with clients to refine strategies, present ideas, gather feedback and provide status updates on active projects
  • Using ClickUp, our project management tool, to document project status updates and collaborate with other team members for all client projects
  • Ensuring the implementation of all client projects strictly follows the agency’s documented systems and working procedures

REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience managing client relationships, preferably at a marketing agency
  • A demonstrated, strong understanding of inbound marketing principles
  • Proven experience designing, revising and/or following business systems and SOPs
  • The ability to work independently and autonomously
  • The willingness to join a growing team and all the challenges and opportunities that come with it
  • The ability to write and communicate effectively
  • HubSpot and/or marketing agency experience is a major plus
