Typical Ramp-Up Timeline with HubSpot
Not all projects or relationships are the same. But if you're looking for an approximate overview of what's going to happen and when, this timeline will help to set the right expectations.
Configure & Integrate HubSpot
A simple, but perhaps the most important step in the process. We start by negotiating your HubSpot contract for the best rate possible, then completing the purchase. From there, we set up account defaults, add users and integrate HubSpot with any other CRMs or software platforms.
HubSpot Technical Onboarding
As soon as you purchase HubSpot, there are a series of tasks that must be completed in order for your portal to be fully-functional. Below is a rough overview, but you can review the full list here:
- Import or migrate data from previous CRM or database
- Connecting email, calendars and phones for all users
- Customizing contact, company, deal and ticket properties
- Connecting domains, installing the HubSpot tracking code, integrating with Google analytics
- Creating templates for blog posts and landing pages
- Setting up email marketing, social media, ads and more
Strategic Buildout
The technical onboarding of HubSpot is complete. Your team is feeling more comfortable using the platform. Our weekly meetings - which initially were designed for training and onboarding updates - are evolving to more strategic conversations. We can now begin the strategic buildout of HubSpot.
We'll start with some quick wins like adding buyer personas, developing SMART goals and launching some workflows. Then we'll move onto other objectives that help us attract and engage our audiences, like forms, chatbots, social media, email marketing campaigns and more.
This process is extremely comprehensive and typically takes a few months.
Reflect & Project
Once the strategic buildout is complete - meaning we have executed everything that was recommended in our proposal and more, we'll provide a recap of everything we've built along with any documentation required to help your internal team best leverage these tools and processes.
Additionally, we'll provide a comprehensive marketing and growth strategy. Essentially, a playbook for how you can continue to leverage HubSpot and other platform-agnostic strategies to accomplish your goals and continue to grow. You'll have the option to do this on your own or engage The Gist for a longer, committed partnership.
